Sarah Bakke New HR Asociate at LCS Facility Group


Sarah Bakke of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., has been named Director of Human Resources at LCS Facility Group, the region’s most experienced and largest provider of facilities solutions.
As Director of Human Resources, Bakke serves as a strategic business partner to the leadership of LCS Facility Group by providing support to the company’s executive and management teams regarding human resources-related issues and initiatives for the company’s more than 450 employees. In her new role, Bakke will oversee the development of HR policies and procedures, and act as “Recruiter in Chief,” championing and managing the sourcing of talent to meet the Company’s needs.
Bakke comes to LCS with a strong background in employee relations and benefits, employee wellness in the workplace, organizational development, and recruitment. Prior to joining LCS, Bakke served as the Assistant Director of Human Resources and Employee Wellness at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Her previous work experience also includes Cary Institute of Ecosystems Studies in Millbrook, N.Y., Sunburst Technology, Tyree Maintenance Co. Inc., and The GAP, Inc.
Raised in Auburn, Maine, Bakke earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bentley University in Waltham, Mass., Upon completion of her degree, Bakke moved to Chelmsford, MA. where she began her employment with The GAP, Inc., Three years later, Bakke relocated to New York, and since then, has served in a variety of roles with top tier organizations - gaining the employee relations experience and management skills necessary for her new role as Human Resources Director at LCS Facility Group.
