San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) hosted Skilled Trades Night across its campuses in September. The event invites students, families and community members to tour facilities, watch demonstrations and explore career pathways in construction management, electrical, HVAC-R, aviation maintenance and more.
Enrollment, financial and career services teams will also be available to answer questions about admissions, tuition and workforce opportunities. “Our Skilled Trades Night will provide prospective students and their families with the chance to experience our programs firsthand,” says Robyn Whiles, President of SJVC. “It’s an opportunity to connect with our campuses, meet our faculty and staff and learn how SJVC supports students in preparing for meaningful careers in their communities.”
Founded in 1977, SJVC has served California and beyond for more than 45 years, equipping students with the skills and confidence to succeed in high-demand fields through hands-on training and flexible learning options.
