For architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) professionals, Safe Site Check In is offering free workplace health screenings and check-ins on its digital app until the COVID-19 vaccine is widely available in the U.S.
Under the terms of the referral program, only AEC companies are allowed to participate. For every new AEC customer, the referring company can freely use Safe Site Check In at one job site or workplace through June 30, 2021. The AEC referral program is part of Safe Site Check In’s commitment to safer work environments.
Launched in June 2020, Safe Site Check In is a fast growing startup that streamlines the check in process at job sites, offices, and public buildings and securely conducts health screenings with digital record keeping if contact tracing is ever required. Subscriptions are priced at $79 a month and include unlimited check-ins.
With more than 500,000 check-ins to date, hundreds of employees, subcontractors, and visitors at construction sites, and architecture and engineering offices throughout the United States and Canada use Safe Site Check In. Upon arrival, or before entering the workplace, they check in by pointing their smartphone at a unique Safe Site Check In QR-coded poster. They privately answer health-related questions and are immediately notified if they are approved or denied access. If contact tracing is required, company administrators can do it easily and privately.
“With a vaccine on the horizon, more people are preparing to safely return to the office. When they do arrive, they need the assurance that their colleagues are symptom-free of COVID-19,” said David Ward, CEO, Safe Site Check In. “Safe Site Check In is committed to helping the AEC community have a smooth, safe, and secure transition back to the office.”
Beyond the pandemic, Safe Site Check In provides HR, IT, site supervisors, and facilities managers with a way to easily and securely manage how many people are onsite, who they are and who they are visiting. The check in data can also be used for reconciling hours worked against invoices, validating adherence to state and federal guidelines including health screenings and OSHA requirements, contacting tenant hosts for visitor and vendor meetings, and ensuring the health and safety of everybody onsite.
The Safe Site Check In app can also be customized to accommodate the needs of different users. This includes foreign language support, health screening for vaccinations, and for marketers that want to engage patrons onsite and between visits.
