Executive Vice President Ryan Mouledous has been named the new President of Broadmoor, LLC, a Metairie-based commercial construction firm. Established in 1973 by parent company Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC, Broadmoor has long been led by John Stewart, who will assume new responsibilities with the company.
Formerly Broadmoor’s Director of Preconstruction Services, Mouledous rejoined Broadmoor as its Executive Vice President last year after a short tenure as a Vice President at a Southwest Louisiana construction company. Prior to that time, he had been a member of Broadmoor’s executive team for more than a decade.
In his role as President of Broadmoor, Mouledous will oversee the company’s strategic and fiscal objectives, and will work to further improve upon its already award-winning operational excellence. Among other ambitions in the role, Mouledous will focus on improving upon the company’s longtime mission “To Honorably Serve Our Communities” through increased engagement in community volunteerism, strengthening of its collaboration with small, disadvantaged businesses, and growing the team’s knowledge in environmentally sustainable design and construction strategies.
Mouledous is a native of the New Orleans area, and a third generation construction professional. During his Broadmoor tenure he served as the Project Manager of the construction teams that built the new Holy Cross School Student Center, the Louisiana Air National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility and Multi-Unit Readiness Center in Hammond, Tulane’s recent University Center Renovation and Expansion, and the U. S. Navy Family Housing at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Belle Chasse, LA.
Mouledous is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors Bayou Chapter, an industry professional organization. He earned both a Masters Degree in Human Performance and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.
“We’re excited to have a person with the leadership and passion that Ryan is so well-known for now at the helm of the Broadmoor organization,” said Robert Boh, President of the Broadmoor’s parent company, Boh Bros. Construction Co. “He has been a tremendous part of our organizational success and our entire team is eagerly ready to follow his lead into the future as the industry continues to evolve.”
John Stewart will continue to work with the company in a new role as a Senior Consultant to the company’s Leadership Team, with a strategic focus in helping the organization continue to serve its long-time oil, gas and industrial clients.
“Leading this design and construction family at Broadmoor into the next generation of building services is the right next step for my career,” said Mouledous. “I have a tremendous passion for this company and the capabilities of this entire team, and believe we can offer the highest quality of services to the greater New Orleans community, and perhaps even further. We are looking forward to continuing on our growth trajectory, and especially to unveiling new service lines and innovative construction solutions to clients old and new in the years to come.”
