Carpigiani North America, a Welbilt Company, today announced the appointment of Robert Delach as Director of Chain Solution Development effective October 1. Delach brings 11 years of industry experience to Carpigiani. For nine years, beginning in 2007, he was based in Shanghai as General Manager/Vice President of Sales China for the Taylor Company and led the company’s China sales and service operations; from 2016 to 2018, as Vice President of Sales EMEA, he oversaw the company’s efforts in the EMEA region, driving continuous sales increases in both regions. Sales were powered not only by the successful management of existing major global QSR chain accounts but also by the development of new QSR chain accounts and the creation and management of a new retail sales channel.
Delach will assist in overall support and lead Carpigiani’s global effort to develop and align strategic key account plans with a primary focus on major QSR chains. “I am thrilled to join the Carpigiani family and to work collaboratively across multiple time zones,” says Delach. “I’m excited to help lead and drive the goal of growing the QSR chain business across North America for Carpigiani North America.”
“We are pleased to welcome Rob to our team,” said Penny Klingler, President of Carpigiani North America. “We are confident he will continue our strong momentum in the market based on his extensive background, expertise and leadership approach, which align with our strategic focus on innovation, education and global partnerships.”
