Miami-based design house RAYMOND NICOLAS is pleased to announce that Antonio Rodriguez has joined the firm as a junior interior designer. A graduate of Miami International University of Art & Design, Rodriguez draws on his diverse cultural, academic, and professional backgrounds to assist in creating beautiful spaces, with the human experience at the forefront, for the studio’s growing luxury residential and commercial project portfolio.

Rodriguez’s work is largely informed by his nomadic upbringing. Growing up in five different countries, including Angola, the Canary Islands, South Africa, England, and the United States, Rodriguez’s experience catalyzed an early interest in human behavior, including the ways in which individuals interact with and experience different environments. With a background in the interior design and furniture industries, Rodriguez also brings an extensive understanding of both the creative and retail sides of the business.

Rodriguez works in tandem with the architecture and interior design teams, creating conceptual design development presentations, sourcing and pricing various materials, as well as creating drafts and digital models of the studio’s projects.
