Racanelli Construction Company, Inc. She brings 18 years of office management and administrative experience to her new position, along with related experience in contract management, financial reporting, insurance and bond administration, human resources, payroll administration and accounts payable and receivables.

Prior to joining Racanelli Construction, Gina served as the Office Manager and Administrator for Enterprise Architectural Sales, Inc. (New York, NY); a position she held since 2004. While with Enterprise Architectural Sales, she had broad responsibilities across various disciplines. She was responsible for general management inclusive of contract management  and administration, oversight of project documents and specifications, and ongoing daily communications with project foreman to coordinate field logistics and eliminate complications relating to labor, material and equipment delivery. Additionally, she coordinated, facilitated, and supervised all office management administrative duties, new employee onboarding, relationship management with developers, general contractors, subcontractors and vendors, as well as coordination of IT services with office employees. Compliance and corresponding with insurance brokers and general contractors relating to insurance and bond administration were also among her duties, along with payroll administration and accounts payable and receivables.

Gina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (Stony Brook, NY) and is a New York State Notary Public.

She resides in Massapequa, NY.

Also, a 2nd addition of Dan Van De Kar as Senior Estimator. Dan brings over 30 years of experience in commercial and residential projects. He has a proven track record of accomplishments in planning and leading construction build-outs and renovations for multinational corporations.

Dan last served with the De Matteis Corporation (Elmont, NY) as a Senior Estimator. His role was extensive and encompassed reviewing of bids and project drawings, development of bid lists, quantity take offs using estimating software, preparation of scope sheets for review with subcontractors, preparation of scope leveling sheets, review of subcontractor proposals and related negotiations, collaboration with in-house estimating departments, site walk throughs to assess site logistics, and review of safety requirements to incorporate into general conditions.

His career also included the role of Chief Estimator with the Michael Anthony Contracting Corporation (New Hyde Park, NY), Senior Estimator with Venus Construction Services (Brooklyn, NY), Senior Estimator with MDG/Charis Design and Construction (Woodbury, NY), and Project Manager/Estimator with Ahearn Holtzman, Inc. (Port Chester, NY).

Dan’s higher education includes studies at BOCES, Dutchess Community College (Poughkeepsie, NY). He has also completed numerous OSHA 10 Safety Courses.

He resides in East Northport, NY.
