Version control continues to be a major pain-point within the construction industry, contributing to an estimated $15 billion spent annually on rework, according to the Construction Industry Institute. This is why Procore Technologies Inc., a leader in cloud-based construction management software, announced the release of CurrentSet by Procore, a free drawing management app available for both iOS and Android devices. CurrentSet organizes the most recent drawings into one master set, allowing project teams to review, mark up, approve and distribute updated plans to their entire team right from the job site, on any Internet-connected device. Additional features include:
- Automatic version tracking
- Automatic sheet linking and naming
- Automatic syncing of work completed remotely (once user is back online)
