Precision Building Construction LLC has been selected to build a new $12 million headquarters for the Orlando Regional Realtors Association. The new facility will project an expanded and modernized image for ORRA’s growing and diverse role in one of Florida’s largest industries. It also is designed to reflect a connectedness to its members and the community.
The four story, 45,000-square-foot structure will include a convention center with three event spaces that will have movable partition walls, training rooms, a media studio, a technology lab, six conference rooms and a fitness center.
It will be constructed on Diplomat Circle in Orlando near Lee Road and next to Interstate 4 behind a Home Depot and directly across from the WESH-TV helicopter pad.
Groundbreaking is scheduled for late October or early November, and the building will
replace ORRA’s current facility at 1330 Lee Road.
The glass, metal panel and stucco building will have several different elevations. An interior highlight will be a two-story atrium lobby with concierges, a four-story
open tread staircase, and a small cafe. There will be approximately 400 parking spaces
on site and a large outdoor courtyard. The building will be modern in style and the lobby
is designed to have a hotel look to it.
Two of three buildings currently on the site—the Promenade at 5420 Diplomat Circle
and the Ambassador at 5421 Diplomat Circle—will be demolished as part of the
construction. The street will remain Diplomat Circle.
