Chet Patel, P.E., has joined Terracon as the materials department manager for the Atlanta area offices. In this capacity, he will manage a team of more than 35 engineers, geologists, technicians, and administrative personnel.
Patel has more than 20 years of experience in performing geotechnical engineering evaluations and managing construction materials testing services on projects in the energy, retail, commercial, local government, and industrial sectors. He has extensive experience on large earthwork projects, mid- to high-rise structures, and industrial business parks.
Patel holds a bachelor of civil engineering degree from the University of Central Florida and an MBA with a Finance concentration from Georgia State University. He is licensed as a professional engineer in Georgia.
