The National Glass Association (NGA) has announced it will launch the NGA Glass Fabricator Conference™ April 26-29, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in downtown Chicago, IL. This is based on feedback received from its members and the industry, desiring an event that draws even greater fabricator participation, features new training opportunities, and fosters connection with supplier partners.
The new conference will combine the strengths of the winter NGA Glass Conference™ and Glass Processing Automation Days (GPAD)™, enhanced with a workshop specifically for glass fabrication plant personnel, in order to accelerate the growth of education and training content for NGA’s glass fabricator members.
The NGA Glass Fabricator Conference, known as GFAB™, will feature four elements that address the key needs of different fabrication personnel.
- Executive Track: content for CEOs and Vice Presidents
- Technical Track: material and discussion consistent with the NGA Glass Conference including committee and task group meetings, plus advocacy initiatives
- Workshop Track: hands-on learning at nearby Skyline Design for plant engineers and technicians
- Plus, networking and learning opportunities with fabrication machinery and software partners.
This inaugural event will ensure the essential industry advocacy and technical work continues to be elevated while engaging even more fabricators from all types of companies. The NGA Glass Fabricator Conference will also complement the newly released MyGlassFAB™ online education and training platform with in-person discussion and networking.
