New York & Company to change name, focus on lifestyle brands

New York & Company will change its company name to RTW Retailwinds to represent the fashion retailer’s shift into lifestyle brand platform, Women’s Wear Daily said. The move follows announcements of new partnerships with celebrities such as Kate Hudson, who will be the new face of Soho Jeans; and plans for a new lingerie line.
