Ascentia Development Group and Batson-Cook Development Company are bringing a luxury high-rise residential tower to Bayshore Boulevard.
The 24-story building will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive balconies offering breathtaking views of downtown Tampa and Hillsborough Bay. The project is expected to include approximately 70 condominium homes that will average 3,000 square feet. They will include top-of-market features such as private elevator lobbies, 10-foot ceilings, gourmet kitchens, outdoor summer kitchens, hardwood floors and ample storage.
Residents will enjoy 24-hour concierge service, a private dining room, secured parking and resort-grade amenities including a club room, state-of-the-art fitness center, infinity pool, sun deck and professionally landscaped and maintained gardens.
“As with Aria on Longboat Key and Beau Ciel in Sarasota, we will deliver an iconic, luxury waterfront experience for our residents,” said Jay Tallman, Principal with Ascentia Development Group. “We are looking forward to working with Batson-Cook Development Company, architect Curts Gaines Hall Jones and Batson-Cook Construction on this project.”
“We are thrilled to partner with Ascentia Development Group to bring this dramatic tower to South Tampa,” said Litt Glover, President and CEO, BCDC. “The site location is incredible and we’re excited to deliver an exclusive project unlike anything Tampa has seen to date.”
The dramatic design of the project is by Tampa-based architect Curts Gaines Hall Jones. Bob Glaser and David Traynor of Smith & Associates have been tapped to market the project. Batson-Cook Construction will be the general contractor.
The joint-venture partnership purchased the site in April, and has spent the last several months collaboratively meeting with various stakeholders, neighbors and city staff to design a project that meets market demand and embraces the Bayshore corridor. The result is a project that focuses more on quality and less about maximizing the number of units. The partnership is also pleased to preserve an existing grand oak tree on the property, and incorporate it into the overall design.
The sales team will likely begin taking reservations in early 2017.
