The Franco-German software company CoreTechnologie has launched the latest version of its 3D_Evolution Simplifier 4.8 SP1 software. The powerful tool offers optimised automatic generation of envelope geometries for detailed 3D models. The new software version simplifies the automatic preparation of CAD data for simulations, digital twins and product catalogues.

Automated Data Reduction for Greater Efficiency

With the new 3D_Evolution Simplifier, complex CAD models are reduced automatically. Important information is extracted from the attributes of the CAD data and applied to the naming of components and sub-assemblies based on rules. This enables optimised model preparation for digital catalogues or simulation software, for example, without time-consuming manual processing.

Expertise Protection and Fast Processing

The new Simplifier software simplifies large, overly detailed CAD models, removes internal geometries and generates extremely reduced models at high processing speeds for maximum performance in CAD, virtual reality and digital mock-up applications. The innovative technology for automated, rule-based data reduction and naming of components and assemblies using the attributes in the CAD data ensures significant time and cost savings and maximum expertise protection.

Intelligent Functions for Automatic Selection

The shrinkwrap function automatically filters only components visible from the outside, while internal bodies are removed within seconds. The balloon function enables targeted selection of the components of an interior that are visible from the inside. These functions save valuable time and enable seamless, automatic digital data preparation.

Seamless Data Conversion

Thanks to the support of 36 different CAD formats, including Catia, NX, Creo, Solidworks, Inventor, Step, JT, IFC, FBX and OBJ, the Simplifier 4.8 can be flexibly integrated into any system environment.

Optimised Digital Twins for Smart Factory Planning

The latest Simplifier version offers even more efficient processing of large assembly structures for digital twins and simulations. With just a few clicks, CAD assemblies are converted into functional structures that are ideal for simulating virtual factories and product catalogues in particular.

With 3D_Evolution Simplifier 4.8, CoreTechnologie is once again setting new standards in automated CAD data reduction and making it easier for companies in the production process to create optimised models for digital twins, simulations and VR applications.
