New Cat DX11 18 Volt ½ Inch Drill-Driver With Brushless Motor Packs 600 in./lbs. of Torque

Built to work in the most demanding conditions the new Cat®  DX11 18V ½ in. Drill-Driver with brushless motor delivers 600 in./lbs. of torque to handle the toughest jobs. This cordless powerhouse is one of several new Cat power tools designed to meet the needs of professional tradesmen and serious DIYers.

The Cat 18V drill-driver’s high-efficiency brushless motor features electronically controlled power distribution that increases battery run time versus standard brushed motors.  In fact, the brushless motor delivers 25 percent more power, provides 50 percent longer runtime and adds 10 times longer life.

The 18V drill weighs 4.2 lbs. This drill-driver is an asset to tradesmen including electricians, carpenters, HVAC specialists, locksmiths and others. It’s outfitted with 2 Cat 18V 2.0Ah MAX lithium batteries and a 4-amp 30min. charger to increase jobsite productivity and reduce downtime. The Cat 18V batteries are compatible with other Cat 18V power tools for cost savings and convenience.

For serious do-it-yourselfers, the Cat drill-driver is an ideal upgrade or for those replacing a drill, it’s loaded with the most desirable features for drilling holes and driving screws. It can handle any number of building, assembly, remodeling and repair projects, such as installing cabinets and cabinet hardware; hanging drywall; replacing stairs and railings, draperies and blind brackets; drilling holes for drywall anchors and bathroom hardware; replacing door sets and hinges, and assembling furniture, among other tasks.

The drill’s ratcheting, all-metal, ½ in. chuck provides durability and superior bit retention without slippage. Its ratcheting capability enables the user to hand-tighten bits for rapid bit changes.

The brushless drill-driver features all-metal gears for dependable performance. Its variable, two-speed gearbox delivers no-load speeds of 0-500 and 0-2000 rpm. Its clutch provides 18+1 positions to adjust torque settings. The tool’s drilling capacity is 1- 5/8 in. in wood and 1/2 in. in steel.

The drill has a rubber overmold micro-texture grip for optimum comfort and control. A bright LED light illuminates the work area and continues to shine for 20 seconds once the trigger is released

Included with the brushless drill-driver are 2 Cat 18V 2.0Ah batteries (DXB2), a 4-amp 30 min. charger; double-ended driver bit and bit holder; belt clip and a slide-lock stackable storage case.  It is covered by the Cat three-year limited warranty.
