Morgan / Harbour to build speculative warehouse in Milwaukee

Morgan / Harbour Construction has been selected to build a 150,000 square foot speculative industrial facility for Scannell Properties on Milwaukee’s northwest side on a 12.5-acre parcel at 12111 and 12255 W. Carmen Avenue. The speculative building will feature 15 exterior docks with 16 knock-out panels for future docks, and 22 trailer stalls with dolly pads.

Scannell Properties, represented by Development Associate Kip Wanser, selected Morgan / Harbour to execute the project. The West Carmen Avenue facility will offer tenants convenient access to Interstates 41/45, General Mitchell International Airport, and Milwaukee’s full transit offerings.

The Morgan / Harbour construction team includes Greg Bugbee, VP as Project Executive, Eric Schmidt as Senior Project Manager, and Jason Norton as Superintendent. Paul Woody Architect, Inc. of Charlotte, North Carolina is providing architectural design services. Civil engineering design is by Pinnacle Engineering Group.

The Boerke Company, based in Milwaukee and represented by Jeff Hoffman, Principal/Industrial Services, will market the multi-tenant development for lease on behalf of Scannell Properties.

Completion of the new speculative warehouse is scheduled for Fall 2019.
