MARTA board approves $2.7B, 40-year expansion plan

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) board of directors approved a 40-year, $2.7 billion expansion effort, which includes 13 miles for bus rapid transit and 29 miles of light rail. The plan has undergone a number of changes since May, including more money for Atlanta Beltline transit and less for the Clifton Corridor. Read The Atlanta Journal-Constitution story here
