Lowe’s chooses N.C. over Dallas for new tech hub

Lowe’s will build a 357,000-square-foot tech hub in Charlotte, N.C., where it expects to create up to 2,000 new jobs, the home-improvement retailer said. Last month, the company said it had narrowed the search to Charlotte and Dallas for the facility, where employees will develop in-house technology and focus on logistics and supply chain improvements.
