Artaic, a leading mosaic manufacturer that uses robotic technology and innovative design tools to customize, design, and fabricate award-winning installations, is proud to introduce the Lasting Rugs collection. The collection blends two ancient, intricate art forms that honor the beauty of both mosaic and rug design through three thoughtful categories: traditional, contemporary, and eclectic. The durability of the mosaic tile paired with the brand’s proprietary robotic technology allows for the decorative style of the woven art form to last a lifetime, without  typical wear and tear. By offering rugs in this new medium, Artaic celebrates and uplifts this cornerstone of interior design in a brand new fashion.

The collection is available in all of Artaic’s tile offerings — Vitreous Glass, Natural Stone, Glazed Porcelain, and Sintered Glass — and offers several bespoke designs within each of the three categories including, traditional, contemporary, and eclectic, which can all be customized by both tile type and colorway. As a tile medium, Lasting Rugs can be installed on a wide range of surfaces, including the floor, walls, ceilings, pools, and exterior facades.

“With this collection, our goal was to find a way to get traditional woven rugs off the floor and celebrate

these designs to their fullest potential,” said Kait Paradowski, Artaic’s new design director. “We were inspired by the intersection of innovation and ancient art form to create a collection that holds true to its name, offering unmatched durability and longevity that a traditional rug is unable to withstand.”

Due to the mosaic tile form, the Lasting Rugs offer extreme cleanability, meaning a traditional rug design can combat the germ-filled environments including mudrooms, gyms, saunas, spas, hospital settings, and more. At the end of every day, the intricate patterns can be washed, scrubbed, and sweeped, while never losing form.

Artaic can transform any provided woven design into a mosaic using its proprietary Tylist™ software. In addition, the Sintered Glass tile type is sustainably made from recycled glass, and every Lasting Rug can be made in this form, meaning the Lasting Rugs collection offers durability, cleanability, adaptability, sustainability, and, of course, timeless style.

The brand continues to create award-winning mosaics that can be found around the globe, enhancing the design of spaces large and small. To learn more about Artaic, please visit
