Joseph Hess has joined Stantec’s commercial design team as a program manager in the firm’s Chicago, Illinois office.  Hess most recently served as director of architecture and design for national retailer OfficeMax. At Stantec, he will direct planning and design services for some of the firm’s major retail accounts.
Hess has more than 25 years of experience in architecture, store planning, prototype development, and rollout programs for retail, restaurant, and hospitality projects. His work with previous design firms supported the successful growth strategies for numerous national retail brands.
Stantec’s commercial team provides architecture and engineering services, from concept through construction, including more than 7,300 projects in 2013 alone.
