JLL announced the appointment of Jon Wright to the role of JLL’s Life Sciences Project & Development Services, Vice President. In this position, he is responsible for developing cost effective and value add real estate solutions for JLL’s life science clients in the Pacific Northwest, Northern California and Rocky Mountain regions.
Jon Wright will collaborate with the Rocky Mountain Region, Pacific Northwest, Northern California and Americas and Global leadership to drive growth and build partnerships – driving value creation on behalf of our clients.
“Jon’s extensive experience in managing the design, construction and commissioning of complex laboratory facilities will strengthen JLL’s Life Sciences Project & Development Services (PDS) business and help us continue to provide solutions for both domestic and international clients,” said Hyson. “Jon is the perfect fit to grow our life science practice with his global network and experience and solutions-oriented approach to addressing client challenges.”
Wright brings over two decades of experience developing research and diagnostic laboratory infrastructure solutions for both national and international clients. His work includes two overseas assignments, one in Uganda, where he managed the design, renovation and new construction of five laboratories critical to the country’s ability to respond to disease outbreaks. The second overseas assignment was in the country of Georgia, where he was the construction and commissioning manager for the country’s new national public health research laboratory.
Additionally, his domestic portfolio includes project management, design management, construction administration, construction administration, commissioning oversight and transition planning for some of the nation’s most complex laboratories, including the new National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) located in Manhattan, Kansas.
