InterContinental to transform shuttered hotel in Texas

A 21-story, 400-room InterContinental Hotel will take the place of a Wyndham hotel in San Antonio that has been closed since 2021, with the $158 million construction project expected to be finished late next year. The renovated hotel, located along the San Antonio River Walk, will feature a rooftop pool and other amenities, new restaurants and bars and co-working spaces with "smart" glass that will become private dining areas at night.
