iBuild USA works hard all year to help people get the ball rolling on their construction careers. Now, the nonprofit is taking that literally.
iBuild U.S.A. will hold I Bowl for iBuild, its annual bowling tournament and fundraiser that funds the nonprofit’s mission of promoting and creating pathways to careers in the skilled trades.
The organization will host its annual bowling event to raise money to open the door for more young people in Central Florida to find valuable jobs in skilled trades.
The event will take place on Sept. 29 from 6-9 p.m. at AMF Altamonte Lanes, 280 Douglas Ave., Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714. In addition to the bowling tournament, there will also be a silent auction and drawing.
iBuild U.S.A. is a nonprofit that collaborates with over 400 partners to build the workforce development pipeline for the construction industry. I Bowl for iBuild will support the nonprofit’s Frank Bracco Memorial iBuild-Up Grant, which empowers people to pursue their career in the construction industry by providing scholarships and removing barriers to employment and promoting trades programs to middle and high school students.
“We look forward to I Bowl for iBuild every year, not only because it’s a fun-filled evening spent connecting with our community and partners, but because it directly supports our mission of connecting those looking for a rewarding career in construction with the companies who are seeking a trained workforce,” said said Debbie Rodriguez, iBuild president.
Those interested in sponsoring I Bowl for iBuild or reserving a bowling lane can register here.
