IBP (Innovative Building Products) offers a glass block canopy application for their patented Glass Block Grid System.  The Grid System provides simple, mortar-free installation of glass block into canopy structures in a variety of residential and commercial applications.  This application of the IBP Grid enables designers to specify a transparent canopy at significant savings over structural glass.
The IBP glass block canopy utilizes the proven IBP aluminum grid that has been used for over 20 years to create glass block shower, floor, and window installations nationwide.  The Grid canopy provides more protection from weather than a traditional cloth canopy and delivers critical natural light into the interior.  This infusion of sunlight reduces the demand for artificial lighting, provides accurate color impressions, and creates a more pleasing interior environment.
