Illinois Brick Company (IBC) the family-owned, fourth generation distributor of masonry and other related construction materials, hosted its 14th Annual Manufacturer Showcase on Tuesday, February 11th from 8am – 5pm. at the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oak Brook Terrace, Illinois.
The free event hosted 300-plus guests including architects & designers and other IBC customers Each year, the Showcase features the latest products in the masonry and stone industries.
Educational events, including both AIA and non-AIA accredited seminars, product demonstrations and a highly spirited networking cocktail hour rounded out the day’s activities.
IBC’s Co-President, Jerry Vinci declared, “This was one of our largest Showcases to date. We had well over 50 vendors sign up to demonstrate their products and services… some of whom are very new to IBC. Showcase not only gives our customers the opportunity to meet with our trade partners and get a peek at their new and innovative products. Additionally, our employees, especially our inside sales staff, get the chance to meet everyone in person.”
Nate Karaway, IBC Co-President, emphasized the fact that IBC’s Showcase is more than just a networking event. “We’ve brought in our trade partners from around the country to share their products, their ideas and their expertise with our customers. Nearly all of our product lines were displayed right under one roof for everyone to see. What better way is there to get to know IBC, than through our Manufacturers Showcase event?”
The event also included an extravagant lunch buffet with various industry raffle prizes and flat screen televisions to be awarded, as well.
