Hersha Hospitality Trust has partially closed on a five-property portfolio deal that it announced last year. Two hotels in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., closed for $62 million as originally planned, but Hersha and the buyer renegotiated the price for the remaining three hotels on the West Coast for an additional $7.5 million, and that portion of the deal is expected to close in six months.
