Guerdon Modular Buildings, the leading manufacturer of large-scale, modular construction projects and modular multi-family housing developments in the western United States, has been tapped to complete the Eviva Midtown project. Located at the corner of 16th and N Streets in the heart of Sacramento’s central city, Eviva Midtown represents the largest modular project in Sacramento to date and continues the revival of the midtown area.
Formerly known as The Warren, the Eviva Midtown project comprises 118 condominium-style rental units in a six-story structure. The unit mix includes 78 one bedroom units ranging from 700 – 800 square feet and 40 two bedroom units ranging from 1,100 – 1,200 square feet. Just one block from Capitol Park, the new apartment community features excellent proximity to mass transit and downtown Sacramento amenities such as restaurants, museums, art galleries and nightlife. Integral Development is the project’s developer, and Tricorp Hearn Construction the general contractor.
“Guerdon has integrated so closely with our staff that every aspect of the construction process has been worry-free – everything from the design and build to mapping out the delivery and installation process,” said Dave Bruss, chief operations officer at Tricorp Hearn. “That lets us focus on what Tricorp Hearn does best, managing successful construction projects to completion for greater Sacramento.”
“Eviva is a chance for our deep bench of design, engineering and construction professionals to demonstrate how our modular construction technology dramatically speeds the build process over traditional on-site approaches without any sacrifice to design or aesthetics,” said Curtis Fletcher, business development manager for Guerdon Modular Buildings.
Factory construction will begin in June 2015, and on-site installation of the Eviva Midtown modules will begin in August 2015. Factory construction photos of the modular units will be available upon request.
