FRCH Design Worldwide announced two new hires to the growing staff in Cincinnati and New York City. These new team members will join the global architectural design firm’s retail mixed use and architecture studios.
Megan Dougherty has been hired to assist the growing retail mixed use studio as a project coordinator. Dougherty graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati, as well as an MBA from the Carl H. Linder College of Business, at the University of Cincinnati. Starting as a co-op at FRCH in 2011, Dougherty began building her skill set with the studio, learning the ins and outs of the multifaceted business of RMU, which merges spatial design, consumer experience, graphics and place making. Dougherty also worked at Kaczmar Architects and SFA Architects as a co-op.
FRCH’s New York City office gains a new member to their architecture department. Germana Gioglio recently joined as an architectural project manager, where she brings a deep experience and appreciation for retail and residential designs. Working previously as a freelance designer on retail design and visual merchandising, her experience led to numerous successful projects. Most recently, Gioglio worked alongside famous architect Peter Marino, focusing on schematic design, design development, and space planning. Gioglio received a master’s of architecture degree from Polytechnic University of Milan.
