FK Architecture, a Fugleberg Koch Company, has completed construction work on Bryce Landing, a $21.9-million affordable housing complex in the Clay County, Florida, community of Middleburg. Personnel from FK Architecture and developer Housing Trust Group leaders will be on hand to celebrate Bryce Landingโs grand opening on August 9 at 11:00 a.m. at 1914 Bryce Landing Way, Middleburg, FL 32068.
โTo be there in person as residents commence their next chapters in a space we designed will be truly gratifying,โ said Ted Hunton, Managing Principal and Owner at FK Architecture. โAs housing costs continue to climb, itโs part of FKโs mission to be aย key collaborator in providingย affordable, high-quality living spaces.
The complex comprises four buildings surrounding a central garden. The living units range from one to three bedrooms, from 717 to 1,191 square feet. In addition to a resort-style pool at the community center, Bryce Landingโs amenities include a fitness center, clubhouse, dog park, playground, picnic area, and an observation deck from which to observe the surrounding wetlands. Onsite services will include job training, financial counseling, and literacy coaching for residents.
Rajiv Ramakrishnan led FK Architectureโs team. The designerโs partners on the project included general contractor Kellogg & Kimsey, Inc., engineer CHW Consultants, and landscape architect Wood and Partners. โThe work on projects like Bryce Landing is important to our firm and our greater community,โ added Rajiv Ramakrishnan.
