FK Architecture, a Fugleberg Koch Company, is pleased to announce the start of construction at Novum Plano, a 147-unit Class ‘A’ Active Adult (55+) community. Novum Plano will offer 101 one-bedroom and 46 two-bedroom apartment-style units specifically designed for modern, comfortable living for adults age 55 and older.
Among the community’s outdoor amenities will be a dog park, courtyard with cooking grills, resort-style pool, pickleball courts, communal fire pit and 4-story, and structured parking garage with 259 spaces. Inside, Novum Plano will feature a state-of-the-art fitness center.

The community is at the center of Plano at the busy intersection of Rasor Blvd. and Preston Rd. — navigated daily by more than 6,300 vehicles. Located at the heart of a busy mixed-use district encompassing retail options and various types of living spaces, Novum Plano is also within a short distance of Stonebriar Mall at The Bridges and one mile east of the Legacy West shopping center.
Novum Plano is owned by AOG Living, which collectively has over 30,000 apartment homes in its portfolio. FK’s partners on the project include Construction Administrator Yasser Waly, who attended the recent groundbreaking on September 24, as well as MEP specialist JLC Engineering, Civil Engineer Kimley Horn, structural engineer support from Integrity Structural Corp., and interiors specialist Faulkner Design Group.
“FK is a major player in designing innovative and comfortable living spaces throughout Texas, which continues to experience unprecedented growth,” said Ken Linehan, Managing Principal and Owner at the firm. “In addition to the Novum Plano active adult community, we are putting our unique stamp on other projects, including affordable housing units in Austin and a dual-brand hotel in East Austin. The long-term possibilities for the Lone Star State are limitless.”
