Exposure Lighting to Rep Amerlux in New England

Amerlux, an award-winning design-and-manufacture lighting company, announced today that it has selected Exposure Inc. as its new rep in the fast-growing New England market, effective Feb. 1.
Exposure Inc. is a Boston-based lighting specification agency dedicated to providing superior architectural lighting solutions to the design community. Founded in 2013, Exposure Inc. has quickly emerged as one of New England’s top lighting representatives by delivering architects, designers, engineers and other specifiers expertise and insight into the finest lighting solutions on the market for diverse applications.
“We are extremely excited about this new chapter in Amerlux history and for Exposure Inc. to represent us in a region that we hold near and dear to our hearts: New England,” said Chuck Campagna, President & CEO at Amerlux. “Several of our headline-making projects, from commercial high-rises to posh retail and hospitality applications, are in the region they call home. We look forward to continually growing our presence in this design epicenter with Exposure Inc. by our side.”
With additional offices in West Hartford, Connecticut, and Hampton, New Hampshire, Exposure Inc. represents more than 100 product lines and specializes in providing unparalleled support and crafting deep relationships with everyone involved in the lighting design process.
“There are certain companies in the lighting and electrical industries that have always stood out for their innovation, quality and superiority, and Amerlux is certainly at the top of that list,” said Richard Worthy, Principal & Founder of Exposure Lighting. “Amerlux not only specializes in lighting a building—they beautify it—and the quick shipping capabilities they can provide from such a nearby facility perfectly complements their artistry. We look forward to using their passion for lighting as a competitive advantage in the New England marketplace.”
Amerlux Adds More Innovation to Exposure Inc. Product Line
The new partnership with Exposure Inc. comes as Amerlux releases several new architectural lighting solutions, each of which is turning heads—and sales.
For instance, Amerlux’s new UV-free, 405-nanometer antimicrobial LED lighting solution, which kills bacteria and viruses, including COVID-19, was recently named one of the most innovative solutions in the industry by Architectural SSL magazine. Unlike traditional UV lighting, ActiveCLEAN™ provides comfortable, crisp-white illumination that meets the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard for continuous, unrestricted use around people. These qualities make the solution an attractive addition for workplaces looking to add an extra layer of protection for their most valuable assets—their staff and their customers.
Other examples of recent innovation from Amerlux include:

  • Aerus, another award-winner that maximizes advancements in electronics and optics to virtually eliminate glare and create work environments that enhance employee productivity and health. The linear pendant solution mounts 12 inches below the ceiling (compared to standard mounting for indirect/direct pendants of 18 inches to 24 inches) and eliminates “hot spots” while delivering the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES)-recommended foot-candle on desks. With a maximum unified glare rating (UGR) of 16, Aerus exceeds the glare and contrast requirements set by the WELL Building Standard.
  • Cubebits, a pioneering set of recessed linear downlights that offers a 1.5" aperture profile in 3-cell, 9-cell or 12-cell units and adds stunning visual interest to the space below with a single illumination beam. Compatible with grid, flange and wood millwork ceilings, Cubebits comes in a black and white specular finished louver that allows for quiet yet exceptional lighting output for any retail, hospitality or commercial environment.
  • Curvano, which provides dazzling, versatile LED linear lighting as if you drew it with a pen. Available in recessed and pendant mount, Curvano offers a 2.5" aperture, five curved diameter corner options and three circular selections in standard and custom request orders. Equipped with magnetic reflector trays within its curved sections, as well as a modeling kit for easy design and ordering, adding stunning dimension and maintaining flexible, comfortable illumination is as simple as creating refreshing new patterns.
