Efren Arroyo has joined low-slope roofing manufacturer MuleHide as territory manager for North and West Texas.

He is the company’s lead contact with customers in the territory. His responsibilities include helping ensure that projects are completed efficiently and according to specification, working with contractors and ABC Supply Co. Inc. branch teams to develop the best solutions to meet property owners’ roofing needs, and providing ongoing product, technical and sales training for contractors and ABC Supply associates.

A nearly 30-year veteran of the roofing business, Arroyo comes to MuleHide from Beacon Building Products, where he was a branch manager in El Paso, Texas. He worked for ABC Supply for nearly 16 years, most of them as a branch manager or outside sales associate in California, Florida and Texas. He has extensive experience on the manufacturing side of the industry, including sales and branch management positions with Pacific Award Metals, Steeler Construction Supply, Southeastern Metals Manufacturing Co., Monier LifeTile LLC, Tremron Group and Boral. He was a field supervisor with Petersen Dean Inc., which was one of Southern California’s largest track roofers at that time, and was a territory sales manager with Suncoast Roofers Supply Inc. in Miami.

“Three decades in roofing – spanning distribution, manufacturing and contracting – has given Efren deep product and technical knowledge and a great understanding of what everyone involved in a project needs,” said Lane Reed, regional director for the Southwest. “He has a strong track record of success as a leader and has demonstrated his ability to forge strong relationships with customers and colleagues. We look forward to having him bring those skills and experiences to North and West Texas.”
