Dallas developer plans Hard Rock Hotel near Alamo

JMJ Development, a Dallas-based real estate firm, has drawn plans for a 14-story, 300-room Hard Rock Hotel to sit atop the four-story, 131-year-old Joske’s building at the Shops at Rivercenter in San Antonio. A proposed 23-story hotel tower on the same site was nixed in 2013 over concerns about the ambiance around the historic Alamo Mission. Read the Houston Chronicle story here
