Commercial Development Resources (CDR), California’s premier civil engineering land development firm, announced today the company has hired five additional civil engineers to support a significant increase in client work.
Five civil engineers have recently joined the rapidly expanding team at CDR’s west coast headquarters in Newport Beach, CA. Brad Sheelor, Luke Russell, E.I.T., Michelle Narolewska, Andrew Martinez, E.I.T., and Steve Diaz, E.I.T., will join CDR’s team of expert civil engineers.
“CDR has been fortunate to experience a substantial amount of growth in our company over the last several years. We are pleased to announce that we have added five engineers to our dedicated and hardworking team to help support the needs of our clients as we grow in California and expand our business into Western and Southeastern United States,” said CDR Founder Aaron Albertson.
Brad Sheelor graduated from Texas A&M University at Galveston with a B.S. in offshore and coastal systems engineering. He has years of expertise as a superintendent for SSA Marine and field engineering for Innovative Consultants, and brings a wide variety of specialized knowledge and resources to the CDR team.
Luke Russell, E.I.T., earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, and went on to get his master’s degree in environmental engineering from San Diego State University. He previously worked as a consultant for an environmental engineering agency.
Michelle Narolewska graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. She was chosen as the Outstanding Baccalaureate Graduate for Civil Engineering by the Chairman and faculty of the Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering Management Department. Prior to joining CDR, she worked as an engineering technician for a civil engineering firm.
Andrew Martinez, E.I.T, obtained a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from California State University, Fullerton in 2021. Before joining the CDR team, he gained valuable experience working as a lab technician at Orange County Public Works Materials Laboratory. He performed standardized soil and aggregate testing for quality insurance for county projects, as well as tested preliminary soil samples and completed soil reports for geotechnical engineers.
Steve Diaz, E.I.T., earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and proceeded to obtain his masters’s degree from UCLA in civil engineering with a specialization in environmental and water resources. He brings years of engineering experience working with the City of Pomona Water Resources Department, and as an assistant engineer at Huitt-Zollars, Inc.
