Clopay is introducing commercial overhead door models that offer designers, specifiers, and building owners a thermally-broken, insulated steel full view option for buildings that require natural light and visibility. These include restaurants, retail centers, fire stations, and automotive service centers.
“This new door combines features of two popular Clopay products into one. It has large lites to maximize views, contemporary styling, and offers energy efficient, storm-ready protection from the elements,” says Chad Riffell, director of Clopay’s commercial products group.
Clopay’s insulated full view doors are available with expanded polystyrene and Intellicore® polyurethane foam insulation up to two inches thick in a three-layer “sandwich” construction in either flush or grooved panel designs.
Clear and opaque tempered glass windows come in two sizes: 19.5” x 16” and 42” x 16”. Insulated glass and impact resistant lites are also offered, making the door suitable for coastal regions prone to high winds.
Factory-finished frame colors include: Standard White, Glacier White, Black, Gray, Mocha Brown, Chocolate Brown, Trinar White, as well as custom coatings to match the building design with Clopay’s Colorblast® paint system.
Some door size restrictions apply. The door is available through Clopay distributors in the U.S. and Canada. For details, visit https://www.clopaydoor.com/commercial.
