CENTRIA, an industry leader in the design, development and manufacture of architectural metal wall and roof systems, is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Bacon to the position of MetalWrap Business Unit Manager.
In his new role, Bacon will drive the creation and development of a standalone business unit within CENTRIA, focusing on growing additional distribution channels for the MetalWrap Series insulated composite backup panel wall system. Bacon’s efforts will be focused on growing greater market acceptance of insulated composite backup panel (ICBP) technology for use behind nearly any exterior cladding material.

Georgia DOT joins 11 states requiring e-Ticketing in 2026

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has launched a statewide e-Ticketing initiative—starting in 2026, all contractors will be required to use e-Ticketing under Section 110 of GDOT specifications. As a first step, GDOT has implemented a dual-ticketing pilot—TruckIT, which requires both paper and electronic tickets.
