Carnegie Adds 4 PVC-Free Wallcoverings to Eden Line

Carnegie, a leader in sustainable textiles and acoustical management solutions for the commercial industry, introduces four new wallcoverings as part of the Eden collection. Inspired by lush jungles and thriving landscapes, the collection brings warmth, color, and confidence to any space through rich textures and bold, expressive patterns. From public spaces to private retreats, the Eden wallcovering category offers designers a way to bring walls to life with sustainable materials that feel as good as they look and perform beautifully for years to come.

Carnegie’s Eden wallcoverings redefine what sustainable surface solutions can be, proving that beauty, durability, and responsibility are not mutually exclusive. This category includes high-performance, PVC-free wallcoverings and introduces Carnegie Loop, an affordable woven brand made from post-consumer recycled PET bottles. Designed as a mono-material construction, Loop prioritizes circularity. It is durable, cleanable, and easy to recycle at the end of its life.

“Carnegie Loop reflects a thoughtful approach to material design,” says Gordon Boggis, CEO of Carnegie. “The wallcovering is constructed entirely from 100 percent polyester and includes 23 percent Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified post-consumer recycled PET. By using a mono-material construction for both the face and backing, the product simplifies end-of-life recycling while supporting long-term circularity goals.”

The Eden wallcoverings draw inspiration from the raw, organic tactility found throughout the collection, with textures and patterns that feel lived in, grounded, and alive. Whether subtly textured or visually dynamic, each design references natural elements such as mineral surfaces, weathered wood, handwoven fibers, and the intricate beauty of tree bark and branching forms. The result is a rich palette of wallcoverings that convey warmth, movement, and material honesty.

The new wallcovering options include:

  • Belvedere: Belvedere brings the rich, timeworn character of aged leather into a performance-driven, PVC-free wallcovering. With a refined matte finish and fashion-inspired texture, it delivers the tailored look of luxury—without the high-end price tag. Available in five versatile colors, it’s a go-to staple for designers seeking elevated aesthetics on a budget.

  • Woodland: Woodland transforms walls into lush landscapes through an artistic tree motif reminiscent of impressionist brushwork. Each colorway evokes a tranquil forest scene, inviting the warmth, depth, and complexity of nature indoors. Crafted as a PVC-free alternative, it’s both visually rich and consciously designed.

  • Loop Halo: Loop Halo wraps walls in the cozy elegance of bouclé-inspired texture. Its highly durable woven construction pairs with eight timeless neutral tones—from warm whites to layered greys—creating an inviting backdrop that’s both soft to the eye and built to last.

  • Loop Vapor: Loop Vapor channels the ephemeral beauty of drifting clouds and rising mist. Its organic, whisper-soft pattern adds a sense of calm and lightness to any space. Woven for resilience and available in a palette of serene neutrals, this wallcovering delivers both atmospheric impact and long-term performance.

All Eden wallcoverings are free of harmful substances, including antimicrobials, antimony, bisphenol A (BPA), chlorine, DMF, formaldehyde, halogenated fire retardants, heavy metals, ozone-depleting chemicals, PFAS, phthalates, plasticizers, PVC, solvents, and Red List chemicals, supporting healthier spaces for people, ecosystems, and the communities. With a range of performance options and price points, the wallcovering offerings support both premium and budget-conscious specifications without compromise.

The Eden collection is rooted in Carnegie’s commitment to authentic, future-focused sustainability. Each product advances Carnegie’s legacy of material innovation, offering designers beautiful solutions that maintain both environmental responsibility and performance.
