The Butz Family of Companies, consisting of Alexander Building Construction Co., Alvin H. Butz, Inc. and Shoemaker Construction Co., is pleased to announce the hiring of Bill Sahwell as a project executive.
In his role as project executive, he will provide executive management oversight during all phases of work from preconstruction through project completion.  As the Owner’s executive level contact, he is responsible for facilitating teamwork between all disciplines of the project team, ensuring overall project success and achieving 100% client satisfaction.
With more than 34 years of professional experience, Sahwell will also contribute across the companies with specific project pursuit planning and participate in strategic initiatives and the application of industry best practices.
Sahwell has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Engineering Management degree from Drexel University.

Sahwell’s project portfolio includes extensive pharmaceutical and healthcare project management experience.  He has strategized and led operations, developed business plans and pursued, secured and executed projects ranging from $500,000 renovations to a new, 1,000,000 square foot facility valued at $350,000,000.
He has achieved on-time, on-budget project delivery for Fortune 500 companies, and through his client relationship and client expectations management strategies has generated significant repeat business. Sahwell has led projects for The Franklin Institute and the Philadelphia International Airport as well as expansion of the Sugarhouse Casino.
