Barron Lighting Group, the originator of the LED exit sign and brands such as Exitronix, Trace*Lite, specialtyLED and Indoor Grow Science, announced that its lighting test lab has been qualified as a participant in the Data Acceptance Program (DAP) by UL (Underwriters Laboratories), a globally recognized safety science organization.
“We pride ourselves on always improving our research and development capabilities. Conducting testing at our facility in Glendale enables our business to obtain our market-leading certifications quicker and assures our products meet all applicable quality and performance standards,” says Alan Tracy, owner, and president of Barron Lighting Group.
UL’s Data Acceptance Program allows Barron increased control over the timing and schedule for product testing and certification. Having the ability to identify non-conforming test results in-house with engineering on-site results in faster resolution. Providing UL with a complete data package at the time of submittal eliminates test time and UL turnaround time for DAP participants’ projects.
By fully embracing the UL DAP, Barron Lighting Group will increase speed to market for new products with the latest technologies that meet stringent UL standards. Barron has invested in engineering and dedicated development resources over the last year in our continued commitment to deliver market valued lighting solutions for our customers.
