Real estate design professional Barbara Riekse has joined global design firm Stantec Architecture as the workplace studio leader in Chicago. Riekse has a 25+ year career delivering successful local, regional, and headquarter building design projects for the commercial real estate community. At Stantec, she will lead a dedicated team of architects and interior designers, serving real estate developers, consultants, brokers, and some of the largest commercial clients in the US.
Riekse has a distinguished background helping corporations use design to leverage real estate properties, while creating inspiring, collaborative workplaces. She has experience with a range of clients, including consumer product, insurance and recycling companies, financial institutions, and real estate organizations.
