Atlanta Self Storage Still Strong after Pandemic Surge

RentCafe’s latest self storage industry report in which we analyzed the state of play in the self storage development market in the biggest 100 metros.
The Atlanta metro area takes the seventh spot for new self storage development, with over 3.5 million square feet of space planned and under construction, of which 1.1M square feet are expected to be delivered this year alone.
Atlanta currently has a total self storage inventory of almost 40 million square feet of storage space, and the new additions represent almost 24% of the existing inventory.
