Ark, a new strategic consulting studio confronting the evolving landscape of real estate and organizational strategy, is pleased to announce its official launch. Identifying a niche underserved by the current market, Ark operates at the intersection of design, research, and enterprise performance, bringing innovation and multidisciplinary thinking to today’s greatest business and spatial challenges. The consultancy will support organizational and institutional clients with a range of services, including: organizational transformation strategies, innovation strategies, portfolio planning, corporate and campus transformation initiatives, change management, and visual storytelling, as well as a full suite of bespoke data and research capabilities from generating market insights and industry analyses to survey development and execution.

Comprised of a highly skilled and diverse team of professional strategists, designers, educators, digital artists and researchers, Ark evolved from the Strategy & Discovery arm of global architecture, design and planning firm HLW. The team will function as an independent consultancy, establishing a more flexible and agile approach to delivering data-driven design and research tools to a wider range of clientele. Rooted in the power of “Big Data” and its role in the future of the built environment, Ark is well-positioned to support the analytical needs of the architecture and design community, as well as those of its organizational, institutional, and civic partners.

Ark’s team has previously worked in tandem with both domestic and international firms, including Ayers Saint Gross, Bjarke Ingels Group, Foster Partners, Gary Lee Partners, Hickok Cole, Hecht Burdeshaw, Heatherwick Studios, Manica, OMA, and SHoP. Through these partnerships, as well as in conjunction with HLW, Ark has been steadily building an impressive client roster including the likes of Audible, Capital One, Discovery Networks, Fordham University, Google, Kering, Morgan Stanley, Prudential and SAP.
