Annapolis Town Center, Anne Arundel County’s premier shopping lifestyle destination will open its first ever pop-up outdoor ice skating rink, bringing a season of festive family fun beginning Friday, January 6th through Wednesday, Feb. 22nd.

This pop-up attraction transforms the Boathouse Pavillion in the newly developed East Village into a winter wonderland and community gathering spot for all ages. The area includes a full-size 50×80 recreational outdoor skating rink, skate rentals, free on-site parking, festive music, and lighting!

“We are thrilled to bring our family-friendly ice-skating vision to life at Annapolis Town Center,” said Catherine Brady, marketing director at Annapolis Town Center. “Our hope is to make this a staple attraction in our community that becomes part of family’s winter traditions for years to come.”

General admission tickets to skate are $11 for non-residents, $7 for residents, and $7 for groups of eight or more. Tickets are on a first-come-first-serve basis and guests can bring their own skates or rentals will be available to purchase. The ice-skating rink hours are Monday-Friday 12 PM – 8PM and Saturday 10AM – 8PM.

Also, as part of the cost of admission, all ticketholders will be given an $11 voucher to sponsor Tuscan Prime.

“This project took months of hard work and planning from all parties involved to bring the vision of an outdoor ice-skating rink to fruition, says Christi Swanson, General Manager of Annapolis Town Center. “It was worth every moment, and we are super excited to have this winter attraction here in for our community to enjoy. These are the types of upgrades and experiences we are committed to providing our community!”

Annapolis Town Center recently underwent a major redevelopment, adding several new features including the East Village, Paseo, and several sought-after retailers such as Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma.
