EMG, a Maryland-based engineering, environmental, capital planning and project management consulting company, has promoted Aliza D. Stern to Principal. Stern will helm EMG’s Commercial Division sales team while continuing to work with national clients ranging from commercial lenders to real estate owners and operators.
Stern’s expertise in deal management, transactional analysis and strategic planning has helped EMG to expand and develop a diverse, national client roster that spans government, retail, hospitality, health care, education, multi-family housing and business parks. EMG executives credit her for supporting clients through some of the largest real estate portfolio transactions in the country over the past decade. She joined EMG in 2001 and served as Managing Director prior to her promotion.
Claude N. Limoges, EMG’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “Aliza has been an invaluable member of EMG’s leadership team for over ten years. Our national clients trust her to guide them through highly complex real estate portfolio transactions. She has the technical knowledge and proven track record in sales to help nurture EMG’s future sales leaders. It gives me great pleasure to announce her well-deserved promotion. ”
Said Stern, “Our clients are the focus of everything we do and that will not change for me. At the same time, I am thrilled to take the reins for the commercial team and excited to have the opportunity to mentor EMG’s top-notch commercial salespeople. The opportunities for continued growth are tremendous.”
