Accurex now offers factory-installed optics sensors as an enhanced option for its kitchen hoods. These are part of advanced controls that increase the safety and comfort of kitchen staff through the
following features:

• Optics Sensors can detect smoke and steam within seconds to trigger the exhaust fans. This enables quicker airflow modulation and more efficient system operation.
• Independent Hood Touchscreens allow for precise control of fans, lights, and make-up air from each hood in a kitchen system with an easy to-use color display.

In addition to the advanced controls option, Accurex’s standard hood-mounted temperature sensors respond up to five times faster than duct-mounted temperature sensors. Accurex’s variable volume
controls can also turn down fan speed by up to 50% when maximum airflow is not needed. This means energy savings of up to 88%, which meets green building standards such as IECC 2024 and ASHRAE
90.1.

Accurex’s UL/cUL-certified kitchen controls are part of a complete line of kitchen ventilation equipment that includes make-up air, fire suppression systems, utility distribution systems, pollution control units,
exhaust hoods and fan and dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS). For more information about Accurex and its innovative solutions, please visit www.accurex.com.
