GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. has been presented with a 2014 Community Service Award from the Connecticut Construction Industries Association, Inc. (CCIA.) The award was presented to honor GZA’s outstanding efforts in its commitment to improving the overall quality of life for Connecticut citizens, while demonstrating a sustained commitment to the community. The award recognized GZA’s recently completed improvements to the West Hartford Reservoir Dam No. 2. The design improvements to this 140-year-old, active water supply dam were undertaken by GZA who also provided full-time support services during construction. The award ceremony was held at CCIA’s Annual Membership Meeting & Holiday Reception at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT.
