SchenkelShultz Architecture announces that Alexander Straughn, an Associate in the firm, has earned his architectural licensure in Florida. Straughn began as an intern with SchenkelShultz and joined full-time in 2018.
Straughn has been a critical member of the aviation team and has worked on several notable local projects for the firm, including the Orlando International Airport (MCO) Intermodal Terminal Facility and Automated People Mover, as well as the South Terminal Expansion project.  Focusing on his career in architecture, Straughn participated in the 2+2+2 program and ultimately received his Masters of Architecture from the University of Florida’s CityLab Orlando. Straughn holds a Bachelor’s of Architecture from the University of Central Florida and an Associate of Arts, Architecture degree from Valencia College. He is also an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects.
