Able Services, one of the largest privately held facility service providers, announced today that J. Paul Saccone has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Able Services. Saccone will assume responsibilities effective immediately, and succeeds Paul Boschetto who will now serve as Chairman of Able Services. Saccone previously held the position of President, Able Engineering Services, and will now oversee all Able companies.
“In this ever-evolving facility and real estate environment, it is imperative our company anticipate and stay in front of change, and to this end, is why Paul Saccone is the perfect choice,” said Boschetto. “He is being given charge to direct our companies’ commitment to our clients, our future, and most importantly our employees. This is truly a great day for Able Services and I am excited of what our future holds.”
Saccone joined Able Engineering Services in 2007 as President with the vision of expanding the company into a national provider of facility operations and maintenance. Under his leadership, the engineering company grew into a national provider of facilities services with regional offices operating in all major markets in the United States. Today as CEO, Saccone will lead Able’s 17,000 employees, servicing over one billion square feet of real estate.
“It’s truly an exciting time at Able Services as we continue to grow and gain market share across the United States,” said Saccone. “I could not be more proud of the incredible talent and culture that exists in our company and the opportunity to carry on our core values and strategy as the CEO of Able Services.”
Prior to Able, Saccone served as Vice President of Corporate Engineering, Construction, and Energy at Equity Office Properties Trust (EOP) where he was responsible for the leadership and strategy of the company’s engineering and construction functions.
