A study by the Global Business Travel Association titled “The U.S. Business Travel Industry: Road Warriors’ Impact on Jobs and the Economy” found that corporate travel played a significant role in improving the U.S. economy, accounting for $491 billion — or 3 percent — of the country’s gross domestic product in 2012.
