ALDI chooses Alabama for HQ site, plans Phoenix expansion

ALDI has chosen Baldwin County, Alabama, as the site for its new $100 million distribution and regional headquarters, a facility that will ship products to more than 80 stores when it opens in 2022. The company also plans to open four stores in the Phoenix area by the end of 2020, part of the grocer’s nationwide push to add 70 additional locations to its US roster this year. Georgia DOT joins 11 states requiring e-Ticketing in 2026

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has launched a statewide e-Ticketing initiative—starting in 2026, all contractors will be required to use e-Ticketing under Section 110 of GDOT specifications. As a first step, GDOT has implemented a dual-ticketing pilot—TruckIT, which requires both paper and electronic tickets.
